When Life Gives You Lemons...

You make lemonade, right?  On November 18th I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I have intraductal carcinoma and will need surgery and possibly radiation.  It's non-invasive as far as what they can tell and non-life threatening, but no less scary as hell!  I'm dealing with so many emotions.  I see the surgeon on Thursday to discuss my treatment, etc. I'm really not looking forward to the radiation and I hope to avoid it if at all possible.  I'm not as worried about the surgery as I am about the effects of the radiation.  The biospy on the other hand was horrible.  They really need to figure out how to just put people under for those, seriously.  Over the last couple of weeks I've been trying to keep myself busy and work on craft projects, but still allowing myself the occasional melt down! It feels good to go into the ugly cry now and then.
